L.A. Film Critics Association Awarded ‘your name’ as Best Animated Film

Title: L.A Film Critics Association Awarded Shinkai’s ‘your name’ as The Best Animated Film.

The film was awarded as the best animated film by The Los Angeles Film Critics Association (LAFCA), Michael Dudok de With and Studio Ghibli’s The Red Turtle is the runner-up for this award. Issey Ogata is in the list of runner-ups for the Best Supporting Actor award, for his great performance in Martin Scorsese’s Silence.

Hayao Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli’s were recently awarded for the Best Animated Film award back in 2002 by The LAFCA and Best Animated Feature award in the Acadamy Awards 2003.
