From GKids Ghibli’s Ocean Waves Film Listed for 28th of Dec

From a distributor of GKIDS, The Box Office Mojo website is listing the Ocean Waves anime film with theatrical release date, which is 28th of December, in the list, title that has recently been  rated by  Motion Picture Association of America is also included. Before press time GKIDS did not respond to ANN’s inquiry about the listing.

In North America ADV films, Central Park Media and Sentai Filmworks released “Grave of the Fireflies” but on home video Ocean Waves has never been released. From Tokuma Shoten and Walt Disney Company’s landmark  international distribution deal for every other Ghibli feature in 1996 Studio Ghibli’s Ocean Waves television special and Grave of the Fireflies were notably missing.
